Welcome to the beautiful countryside in the South West corner of France, in rural Charente.

Les Chagnasses (pronounced Lay Sha_n'yas) is a group of old farm buildings set in 3 acres of garden, field and wood with lovely views over a peaceful rolling landscape.

We are 1 1/4 hours drive from Bordeaux and have Cognac and the Saint Emilion vineyards close to hand, along with Aubeterre and its river beach within 20 minutes.
